HUNINGTON BEACH

This was an extended stay for us...21 days split up between three places. We have stayed in this town a few times before always at the city park, right off the beach with great views of the ocean and of course stunning sunsets.

   

 

 

 

Someone put a red swimsuit and Santa Hat on the Serf Statue along the highway through the town... which is also called Surf City USA.

 

 

 

The town...actually the city of Huntington Beach has a great pear that runs out over two hundreds into the ocean where these pictures were taken.

 

 

 We were here to, of course enjoy some nice weather...nicer than back in Ohio

...but also lend a hand to our nephew Brian who had back surgery.

 

We went back and forth from the city park and a state park,

 "also on the beach" for a few days and then got permission to park on the street in front of Brian's apartment. We lost the view but the price was right and we are only two blocks from the beach.

 

 

      Lexi, or RV, also needed to get some work done on her electrical system so we took her to a local repair shop. This next picture usually means bad news because with an RV you just don't know what your getting into and who you are going to trust to do the work.

 

 

The repair was to replace a $22.50 part, a Duel Battery Switch which was hard to get to and took a few hours to put in so we left her there overnight.

   

I'm glad to say we were very pleased with the service and price. So now we have a good place to go for service when out here on the coast.

 

 

We will head back to Surprise AZ tomorrow for a few weeks.
