HARRISON BAY STATE PARK

This is our first stay at a state park and we have a great spot right on a lake. It's early in the season but with the temps approaching the 70's this place is starting to fill up.

We were lucky to just come off the road and have a spot like this...and look...trees...lots of trees. If the rest of the Tennessee State Parks are half as nice as this...we will be spending more time at them.

A lot of the state parks like this one have nice...no...really nice golf course's close to where you camp like here at Harrison Bay...Five parks are part of The Bear Trace collection of Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course's...our camp site was easier to get than a tee time...so next time we will plan ahead...and we are all ready planning the next time.

This park had another nice surprise...a little Dockside Cafe at the marina were we rode our bikes tonight...Tony had the Catfish...southern style and Sandy had Blackened Grouper...just another reason to come back...as if we needed one.
