Now our journey has taken us to Tennessee and a stop at the Jack Daniel Distillery...established in 1866 and in the dry county of Moore...seems strange but true that employees of the largest company in the city of Lynchburg have to travel over a half hour
We went on a very informative tour that took us through the entire distilling process along with the history of the Jack Daniel's and Old #7
We were lucky that Mr. Daniel took some time out of his busy day to pose for this picture...along with a few others.
The camp site that we stayed at the night before our stop at distillery was nothing to get exited about but they had as an entrance this very nice Covered Bridge...another first for Lexi...
We now head for another first...a state park...Harrison Bay will be be the first state park that we will stay at...and in part because Tennessee does not have a separate yearly fee that you need to buy. Some state's yearly fee make it too expensive to just stop 1 or 2 times a year...so we will buy a states pass, like Texas, where we plan to spend more time.
