TENNESSEE & GEORGIA

We stopped again and stayed at the Harrison Bay State Park, but this time we planned ahead and had a t-time at the parks Jack Nicklaus Signature Course...The Bear Trace which is one of 5 at state parks in TN along with 8 other state park courses...all at very favorable prices.

This park has become a favorite stop for us...15 minutes off I-75...over 50 sites on or near water...and a great golf course.

Then it was off to Atlanta to see cousin Craig Riddle...we played the golf course he runs...Bear's Best a course that features some of Jack Nicklaus's favorite holes from around the world...needless to say we kept our fore caddie very busy raking out the many bunkers.

Now we are at Skidway Island S.P. just outside Savannah GA...which is in very thick woods with a wide variety of tropical trees and plants along with hanging tree moss...and for one of only a couple camping spots on this trip...it's not on the water.
