BACK IN ARIZONA

Our stay in the Arizona desert will be brief because the weather is turning cooler and we want to get to some of the interior California parks "which are in the mountains" before the real cold weather sets in.

As you can see you never know what kind of critter you will come across out here!

Our plans for our first week in CA are changing a little because the forecast for the higher elevations (and our original eastern entrance into Yosemite National Park) is calling for SNOW!!! So we will take the south/west entrance into the park...still at 6,192 ft. but far below the 8,400 ft. pass we were going to come through. We will then settle in one of the Yosemite Village Camp Grounds at about 4,000 ft. which are open year around and will be cool this time of year...but hopefully no white stuff.

Our first stop will be Lake Havasu City on the CA/AZ boarder where they re-constructed the London Bridge across the Colorado River...Then off to our first park, The Mojave National Preserve.
