CARPINTERIA

From the Hearst Castle to Sand Castles...a quaint little town just south of Santa Barbara.



We could ride our bikes everywhere....even to church...to bad we picked the all Spanish Mass!




Our campsite was in a State Park with a great view of the ocean...just 50 feet from the beach.



This was a welcome spot after our activity packed Rose Bowl week and a quick tour of the Hearst Castle.



It was nice to just watch the tide go in and out for a week. The waves would put you asleep and then pound the boulder brake wall to let you know it was time to get up.




Now after spending a couple days in Long Beach and rainy weather setting in we have decided to move our itinerary up a week and start heading back into Arizona for a while.
