COCOPAH

This RV and Golf Resort in Yuma Arizona is one of our favorite places to stay and this was our third trip staying the month of February. As you will see from the following photos that there is a lot to do and with the golf course we keep very busy.

Surrounded by fields and fields of produce.

Lots of Entertainment

Celebrating the 70's

Some great local restaurants like Chretin's Restaurant and Cantina which was a real treat especially with the fresh made at the table Guacamole Dip that I even put on my Sizzlin' Shrimp Fajita Dinner.

Our Fat Tuesday dinner at the park cantina was a big hit...so much that we want to do a Low Country Bowl when we get home (bon appetite)

Another interesting thing to do while we were down here was to go to Los Algodones Mexico. With Medical, Dentist, Food, Crafts and of course Street Venders.

With our friends Judy and Myron from Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada

Standing in line waiting to re-enter the United States
with of course more street vendors.

This was great timing on our part to be here during the Lettuce Days which is a celebration of all the agriculture that goes on down here. It's amazing how much they grow...sometimes up to seven (7) crops out of one (1) field in a year.

This was our Camp Site on the 2nd fairway and as you can tell by
the screens we are very close to the action.

Nice views and a great pool.

A look first back to the tee box...then to the green at our site
right on the 150yd marker.

A new Head Cover for Tony's Driver...this place also has a nice
Pro Shop with lots of stuff on sale..."this wasn't" ha..ha.. but
Tony did score new Golf Shoes wide enough for his Orthotics
first pair in two years.. "Game Changer"

...and we didn't know where this guy was going...or where he was from
...maybe Mexico, because we are so very close here.

Yes Toledo OH these are the real Mud Hens
doing what real birds do on a golf course
(make a mess)

Right along the Colorado River with California on the other side
...so this place is litterly in the SW corner of Arizona.

This was a great place to spend a month...how good? We are
already talking about "in two years" staying two months!

A very interesting area with lots to do, and lots of nice people to enjoy all
that Cocopah and Yuma has to offer. We look forward to our next visit
...And Yes "Deb" This Means You!!!

Next stop...not to far is the Palm Springs area in California at a place new to us
for only a week ...then back to Surprise AZ and maybe a side trip
before we head back to Ohio.
